The trees lining Cindy Weil’s property in the Fairacres neighborhood were “bombed’’ over Labor Day weekend.⁠

The beauty of a tree needs no dressing to make it more beautiful. Nor does a beautiful woman need the adornment of an elegant costume. Yet the combination sometimes manifests a heightened perfection of beauty.

These trees called me like a cinderella story. I felt the need to transport these beauties to the fairyland where they could live in fantasy and the viewer could squint their eyes and see them dancing.⁠

The “explosive” yarn — knitted and now wrapped around maples and other leafy creatures. The artist who was created is Cindy Weil.⁠
